Uploading Employee Benefit Elections

Employee electable benefits are determined by your Site Sponsor and vary by agreement. Benefit elections can be done either when using the payroll report upload tool or manually.

When using the upload tool to edit employee benefit elections, consider the following guidelines:

  • To turn on the election, enter a positive dollar amount under the benefit's column.
  • To turn off the election, upload a zero under the benefit's column.
  • If the benefit column is left blank, no changes will be made.
  • If a benefit has an employee rate override, it can be automatically turned on with the upload tool, but to turn it off requires manual management through the employee profile.
