How to File a Zero Hour Report in EPRLive

A Zero Hour Report is used when there was no payroll activity or no hours to report for a selected work month/reporting period, but the employer still needs to submit a report to satisfy the reporting requirement.

There are two ways to file a Zero Hour Report:

  • Use the Zero Hour button
  • Manually file a Zero Hour Report

File a Zero Hour Report using the Zero Hour button

  1. Go to Payroll Reporting > File Payroll Reports.
  2. Under Due Reports, identify the correct Report Period for your agreement.
  3. Click the Zero Hour button.
  4. When prompted, select OK to confirm that you want to file a Zero Hour Report.

EPRLive automatically checks out, submits, and files the report.

Manually file a Zero Hour Report

  1. Go to Payroll Reporting > File Payroll Reports.
  2. Under Due Reports, select the correct Report Period for your agreement by clicking the corresponding MM/YYYY link.
  3. Verify that there are no hours, wages, or benefits entered in the report.
  4. Complete Checkout and select Submit Report to finalize the report.

Notes

  • Verify that you selected the correct Report Period and agreement before filing the report.
  • If you use the Zero Hour button, EPRLive automatically checks out, submits, and files the report.
  • If you manually file a Zero Hour Report, you must complete Checkout and select Submit Report to fulfill the reporting requirement.
  • If no hours were worked for the period, do not enter hours, wages, or benefits on the report.
  • If you need to correct a processed Zero Hour Report, you must file an amendment. For more information, see the Filing Amendments article.
