Agreement Types
Agreement type is selected from the Type dropdown in the Agreement Editor. Once data has been filed for an agreement, you can no longer change the agreement Type.
The available types, along with their basic attributes are as follows:
Collective Bargaining
- Used for bargaining employees
- Hours Worked and Gross Wages are included by default
- One or more benefits must be added
- Fund Administrators and Collecting Agents can be assigned by benefit
- Remittance Instructions can be defined by benefit
- One or more Classifications / Sub-Classifications must be added
- Rate Schedules are required
- Employer signatory assignments are optional
Non-Bargaining
- Used for non-bargaining employees
- Hours Worked and Gross Wages are included by default
- One or more benefits must be added
- Fund Administrators and Collecting Agents can be assigned by benefit
- Remittance Instructions can be defined by benefit
- One or more Classifications / Sub-Classifications must be added
- Rate Schedules are required
- Employer signatory assignments are optional
Supplemental
- Hours Worked and Gross Wages are NOT used
- One or more benefits must be added
- Fund Administrators and Collecting Agents can be assigned by benefit
- Remittance Instructions can be defined by benefit
- Classifications / Sub-Classifications are NOT assigned
- Rate Schedules are NOT used
- Signatory assignments are NOT made; all employers signatory to a union are provided access via dropdown list at bottom of File Payroll Reports page
- Reported data is NOT included on the Reporting Statistics report
Special Agreement
- Hours Worked and Gross Wages are included by default
- One or more benefits must be added
- Fund Administrators and Collecting Agents can be assigned by benefit
- Remittance Instructions can be defined by benefit
- One or more Classifications / Sub-Classifications must be added
- Rate Schedules are required
- Employer signatory assignments are optional
Portability Agreement
- Hours Worked and Gross Wages are included by default
- One or more benefits must be added
- Fund Administrators and Collecting Agents can be assigned by benefit
- Remittance Instructions can be defined by benefit
- One or more Classifications / Sub-Classifications must be added
- Rate Schedules are required
- Employer signatory assignments are optional
- Reported data is NOT included on the Reporting Statistics report
