Employer FEINs
FEINs
Federal Tax Identification Numbers (FEIN), also known as Employer Identification Numbers (EIN), are the basis of employer profiles in EPRLive. When you enter a FEIN to add it to your Employer Roster, the system will check to see if the number already exists in the system.
If the number already exists, you have the option to link to the existing profile. This is the preferred course of action as it allows the users for that company to access all of their reports under a single username.
If the number does not already exist, you can create a new employer profile.
Changing FEINs
FEINs can only be changed by EPRLive Support. If there was an error in the number and it needs to be updated, contact EPRLive Support with both the current and updated FEIN and we can update the system.
If the employer has acquired a new FEIN, you will need to enter it as a new company. Any changes to employer profiles reflect on both future and historic data in the system. To preserve the historic data filed under the previous FEIN, inactivate the profile with the old FEIN and assign necessary agreements to the new profile.
