Rate Schedule Overview
"What is a rate schedule?"
Agreements in EPRLive can be active over multiple years, while the rates for those Agreements may change more frequently. Because of this, agreements in EPRLive require you to create rate schedules. Rate schedules contain the rates that apply to an Agreement for a set range of dates.
This is a powerful tool that allows you to proactively update rates, enforce minimums/maximums, create custom calculations, and much more.
"Where is the rate schedule editor?"
Rate Schedules are managed from the bottom-left of the Agreement Editor. When editing any Agreement in EPRLive, scroll down and on the left you will see the Rate Schedules section.
If you’ve just created a new Agreement that is not a copy, you will not be able to create a rate schedule until you have added at least one benefit and classification to your new agreement.
If you are editing, or have made a copy of an existing Agreement, the most recent rate schedule from the original agreement will be copied over as well.
"When do I create a new rate schedule?"
If a rate schedule has already been used by an employer to submit a report, then you can no longer make changes to the rates in that rate schedule. You must instead ensure there is an effective end date for the existing rate schedule and create a new rate schedule.
To create a new rate schedule, click the new button under the Agreement's rate schedules section. This will start a new rate schedule with the previous schedule's information for you to edit as you need.
