How to Setup Multi-Factor Authentication in EPRLive (MFA)

Users may now enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for their user login account in EPRLive.  

To enable MFA:

  1. Log into EPRLive and click on your initials in the top right corner of any page.  
  2. Click Profile
  3. Click Security
  4. Click the Set Up MFA button.
  5. User will choose the default verification method to log into EPRLive. Authenticator App is the preferred method that will be identified herein; select and click Next.
    • In the Configure Authenticator App screen, scan the QR Code using the required app. Click Next.
      • The key is able to be entered manually if you are not able to scan the QR Code.
    • Enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app to verify your MFA setup. Click Next.
  6. Once the Authenticator App has been set, user will select a secondary Multi-Factor Authentication recovery method and click Next.
    • SMS Text Message and Voice Call are able to be selected and verified without additional security details entered.
    • In order to use the Email option, users will need to complete additional security questions prior to configuring and verifying their email address.
  7. After enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), user will be prompted to enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app upon logging into EPRLive.
    • If the device containing the authenticator app is not immediately available, user may opt to Try another method: this will be the secondary recovery option selected upon setup.
    • User may also select to check the box to trust their device for 30 days and skip MFA upon login.  (This is not advisable on a public or shared device. )
